Since I seem to be making a habit of posting only once a year, here's another roundup.

- I have a job, a really nice secure government job, which is more than I can say for a lot of people right now, so I'm not going to complain about it.

- Permanent Cat stayed with my ex when we split. She loved him more. I'm still fostering. Current Cat is about to go to a new home after a few months with me.

- I'm taking karate again once a week. I still remember enough that I won a sparring trophy at a tournament a few weeks ago, but I'm terribly weak and clumsy and the pain makes it hard to concentrate.

- Still trying to manage the fibromyalgia. Exercise helps dull the pain until the chronic fatigue hits me from the other direction. I spend a lot of time unconscious or barely-conscious in front of the computer.

- Still writing in tiny fits and starts, but art has fallen off the face of the earth. I haven't even doodled in weeks. I just don't have the energy to be creative anymore.

- I'm not going to delete my account or anything (I'm still active on the art-appreciation side) but the truth is I don't know when I'm going to be able to make postable art again, ever. I have a disability now and it's turned my entire life upside down. The basics of survival (work, cleaning, cooking) take up 95% of my energy. Keep watching if you like (it's not costing you anything, after all) but please don't expect much.
